For those of you who don’t know, today marks the 234th birthday of the United States Marine Corps. We’d like to take a moment here on The Capitol View to say thank you to all of our Marines. Tomorrow we observe Veterans’ Day, but today let us honor the men and women of the Marine Corps. It was on this day in 1775, that the Marine Corps was established and ever since then, brave Marines have fought in wars all around the Globe in order to protect our freedoms. Thank you Marines and happy birthday. Semper fidelis!
